Spur of the moment, we took a trip to the beach today. Our family's version of beach going usually involves a rented house in Block Island or the OBX, which requires weeks of planning, so a spur of the moment "lets go to a public beach" isn't in our experience, but Grandma really wanted to go and so off we went.
Mariah, Abby and Evie did their version of Verizon Bars in between riding the waves. There are unexpected suprises almost everywhere!
